The official Twitter account for Netflix's hit series You revealed that season four of the series will be released earlier.

NETFLIX'S YOU' SEASON FOUR GETS A NEW RELEASE DATE Netflix has pleasantly surprised You fans with an earlier release date than what was scheduled for the fourth season of the hit series.

This comes after the official Twitter account for the series set tongues wagging after sharing several dates. This led fans to believe that new episodes of the series will be dropping every week instead of two parts.

Netflix announced that the first part of season four of You - which stars Penn Badgley as Joe Goldberg - will be released on 9 February. This is one day earlier than the original release date for season four, part one.

Part two premieres exactly one month later on 9 March. Joe Goldberg will be taking on another new identity. This time a professor named Jonathan Moore.

While season three of You suggested Joe Goldberg (played by Penn Badgley) was starting a new life in Paris, he is actually heading to London. Second three of the series ended with the murder of his wife Love Quinn (Victoria Pedretti). He also left his infant son with some friends as he attempts to begin a new life again.
