BACKENTERTAINMENT ONE BOOSTS UK SCRIPTED TEAM, HIRES CHRISTOPHER KENNEDY AS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE UK, TELEVISIONLondon, UK July 28, 2022 Entertainment One (eOne) announced today it has hired Christopher Kennedy as Development Executive UK, Television. In his new role, Kennedy will oversee development for the studio's growing original scripted drama slate, with a focus on nurturing strong relationships with top-tier UK talent to bring fresh, compelling stories to buyers in Europe and worldwide. Kennedy will be based in London and report to Sharon Hughff (Creative Director, Scripted Television UK).

Sharon joined eOne in February from Left Bank Pictures, with a remit to expand eOne's slate of impactful stories to international buyers in Europe and Asia.

Kennedy joins from Universal International Studios, where he helped spearhead the studio's creative push into continental Europe. During his tenure at the studio, Kennedy shepherded the development of series like EVERYONE ELSE BURNS (C4), DODGER (BBC), as well as working on shows like Peter Kosminsky's DARKNESS RISING (C4/ Peacock).
