Whitney returned to face Brad for the first time since their bitter breakup

TORONTO (November 29, 2012) Hot on the heels of one of the most emotional proposals in The Bachelor franchise history, host Tyler Harcott caught up with Brad Smith and his fiance Bianka Kamber last night on The Bachelor Canada After the Final Rose special on Citytv. The riveting conclusion to the first-ever season of the series saw the happy couple publicly reunite for the first time since the proposal, and brought Brad and Whitney face-to-face to talk about their explosive split.

All eyes were on Whitney as Tyler welcomed Brad to the stage to discuss what had led to their heated confrontation during last week's dramatic conclusion. Feeling frustrated with the disconnect between the Whitney he thought he knew and the Whitney he saw on-screen, Brad had some hard questions about her true intentions. Visibly upset, Whitney continued to struggle with her inability to speak her mind and her heart but insisted that she had never faked her feelings for Brad. Despite their intense chemistry, she felt that neither of them were 100 per cent confident in their connection. Whitney ultimately concluded that she had no regrets about her experience and, despite all of the hardships, had learned a lot about herself along the way.

Shifting gears, it was then time for the romantic reunion that everyone was waiting for, as Bianka joined Brad on stage for their first public reunion since their fairytale engagement, more than five months ago. Both admitting that the sparks first began to fly in Mexico, the couple took an emotional look back at their journey, reliving the magical moment of their proposal with viewers across the country for the first time since the show ended. More in love than ever, Brad and Bianka confessed to wanting to get married as soon as possible and to eventually start a family of their own.
