IBC Show 2018 has predictably proved to be fruitful and efficient for a lot of participants. For Movicom the event has not only been a great opportunity to show its recent innovation, the Robycam Compact, but also an honorable occasion to grant the first Robycam Supervisor Certificate in China to Sam Shan, the CTO of Lynex Film.

Safety and quality have been the main focus for Robycam developers from the very beginning. Our priority is to maintain the Robycam global standard and deliver sustainable high-quality service anywhere in the world, specifies Victor. To achieve this objective, the company offers an extensive training program every Robycam pilot and supervisor has to undertake. The course consists of several modules with an exam in the end. Having passed the exam, the newly-graduated supervisor works for a considerable amount of time under the guidance of more experienced supervisors in order to be fully equipped to be in charge of system safety control.

Since it is the Supervisors role to ensure safe operation of the Robycam, access to the system is granted through the fingerprint verification which only an authorized supervisor can pass. After supervisors finish their training and successfully pass the exam, they get the needed authorization and get allowed to run any Robycam system across the globe. The Movicoms strategy to expand the network of its pilots and supervisors allows it to cover the needs of various markets maintaining consistent global standard.

Robycam has been active in the Chinese market since 2015 represented by Lynex Film Technology. During this period, Lynex Robycam team participated in many projects, including 29th Summer Universiade, The Voice of China , Hunan TV New Year Eve Concert and League of Legend Finals which was highly recognized and appreciated locally. Embracing the recent technological trends, most of the projects were using Robycam Compass tracking technology which enabled to integrate AR (augmented reality) together with major graphics providers in live production. Today, having the first system Supervisor in China creates a lot of new possibilities in the Chinese market.
