City to air the remainder of Season 5 in simulcast with FBC beginning Tuesday, Feb. 25
The sixth and final season of the series will air on City in fall 2014
TORONTO (January 6, 2014) City is singing a new tune this winter as it welcomes the Golden Globe Award-winning and GRAMMY nominated series Glee to its celebrated prime-time lineup. Currently in Season 5, Glee joins City's mid-season roster beginning Tuesday, Feb. 25 at 8 p.m. ET/PT (check local listings) and will continue to air every Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET/PT in simulcast. Post-broadcast episodes will be available to viewers for online catch-up at Citytv.com. Canadian Gleeks can bid farewell to the beloved series when the sixth and final season of Glee premieres on City this fall.
An international hit, Glee delivers an all-star mix of music, entertainment, and big-name guest stars that is a perfect fit with City's young, urban demographic, said Hayden Mindell, Vice-President of Programming and Content, Rogers Media. Glee returns with an all-new episode, Frenemies, on Tuesday, Feb. 25 at 8 p.m. ET/PT (check local listings) on City. Episodic details will be announced in the coming weeks.
Glee is executive produced and co-created by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, the creative masterminds behind FX Canada's Emmy Award-winning hit series American Horror Story.
