Turner International showcases high quality programming line-up at MIPCOM 2018 October 11, 2018

London - Turner International comes to MIPCOM this year with an exciting pipeline of upcoming programming ranging from drama, to comedy, to kids programmes.

The slate is led by two TNT dramas featuring heavyweight talent - I Am the Night and Tell Me Your Secrets. From Emmy-nominated director Patty Jenkins (Wonder Woman) and starring Chris Pine (Star Trek), who is also Executive Producer, I Am the Night tells the incredible story of Fauna Hodel who was given away at birth. As Fauna begins to investigate the secrets to her past, she follows a sinister trail that swirls ever closer to an infamous Hollywood gynaecologist, Dr George Hodel, a man involved in the darkest Hollywood debauchery. Tell Me Your Secrets, executive produced by Bruna Papandrea (Big Little Lies) and starring Lily Rabe (American Horror Story), Amy Brenneman (The Leftovers), Hamish Linklater (Fantastic Four) and Enrique Murciano (Without A Trace), is an intense, morally complex thriller about three damaged people trying to start over. Both shows are premiering in 2019.

A-list acting talent also leads the comedy Miracle Workers, premiering on TBS in 2019. Starring Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) and Steve Buscemi (Boardwalk Empire), Miracle Workers is an anthology comedy from acclaimed writer Simon Rich (Saturday Night Live). Set in the offices of Heaven Inc., two angels must perform an impossible miracle to prevent their boss from destroying Earth.

Following on from the international success of the critically-acclaimed 4 Blocks, winner of 15 international awards, the production slate from TNT Germany is growing with their commitment to produce broad, distinctive, and high-quality dramas. Three new series are premiering - Arthur's Law, a black comedy in the vein of Fargo, sees a man in an unhappy marriage devise a plan to kill his wife to swindle money from his life insurance and everything that can go wrong goes wrong; Hackerville, an HBO Europe original production, co-produced with TNT Serie, which blends high-stakes investigation with personal drama as Frankfurt cyber-crime cop Lisa Metz is dispatched to Timisoara, Romania following a hack on a German bank; and Other Parents, a hilarious mockumentary centred around a group of parents and soon to be parents trying to set up the perfect Kindergarten.. In addition, 4 Blocks is making a highly-anticipated return for a second series, premiering today in Germany.

The strong line-up of award-winning children's content from Cartoon Network also continues. There are returning favourites, including Ben 10, The Powerpuff Girls, We Bare Bears, Adventure Time and The Amazing World of Gumball - as well as first Boomerang Original The Happos Family - and three brand new series - Craig of the Creek, Summer Camp Island, and Apple & Onion. The creators of these new series honed their skills on some of Turner's most successful programmes, including Adventure Time, Gumball, and Steven Universe.
