Popular radio personalities MoFlava and Khutso Theledi out, who are currently hosting the breakfast show Wake Up on Metro FM With MoFlava & Khutso Theledi have been replaced by DJ Sabby and Kaya 959's Skhumba, according to entertainment commentator Phil Mphela.

DJ SABBY AND SKHUMBA: NEW BREAKFAST HOSTS? While Mphela hasn't confirmed the news, he revealed that sources informed him that MoFlava and Khutso Theledi will be replaced by DJ Sabby, who currently hosts the midday show on Metro FM and Skhumba, who co-hosts Kaya 959's late show with Thomas Msengane.

Sunday World reported in March 2022 that Khutso Theledi from Y (previously YFM) joined the SABC radio station to host the breakfast show with Moeti Moflava Tsiki.

While DJ Sabby, real name Sabelo Mtshali took over The Bridge from Dineo Ranaka when she joined Kaya 959 as the Breakfast co-host with Sol Phenduka.

Mtshali, who was part of YFM for ten years and left the station without a plan, told Drum in July 2022 that he knew he would one day end up working for the SABC radio station.

For my sanity, I left Y with no plan. I thought this is not how I thought my years at Y would play out'. After leaving a show that was so big for so many years, I called two programs managers, and fast forward, I am at Metro and I landed a weekend show, he says.
