Demonstrating success: Flenex FW to take centre-stage on the Fujifilm stand at Labelexpo 2017 Offering cost savings, environmental benefits and outstanding quality, Fujifilm's water washable flexo plate solution is transforming label production for an increasing number of flexo printers.

Fujifilms Flenex FW plates at MPH Ltd

Fujifilm today announces that it will use Labelexpo Europe 2017 (25th - 28th September, Brussels) to demonstrate how its Flenex FW water washable flexo plate solution is transforming label production. Over recent months, many printers have started to see the real benefits of how Flenex FW can benefit their businesses, and Fujifilm will be showcasing these examples on stand A34, Hall 9.

Flenex FW provides the highest print quality and productivity, while significantly lowering the cost in use compared to thermal, solvent or other water wash technologies. As well as offering label and packaging printers the opportunity to boost their speed and productivity, Flenex FW also boasts impeccable environmental credentials. Having been launched at Labelexpo 2015, Flenex FW has seen a steady uptake from flexo printers and reprographic houses, with its durability, quality, low cost-in-use and its environmental credentials all contributing to its appeal.

UK reprographic house MPH Ltd supplies flexo plates to label and packaging printers across the UK with a 24 hour turnaround time. Having invested in Fujifilm's Flenex FW solution in October 2016, MPH is clear on the benefits it provides. It ticks all the right boxes, says MPH Business Development Manager Craig Alderson. Its a premium product at an affordable price, it has great ink transfer and high durability on long runs and we think its the perfect flexo plate product for the broad range of customers we deal with. He is also clear on the environmental advantages it provides: The fact that you can wash the plate with nothing more than water and dishwasher tablets means that its probably the most environmentally friendly plate product on the market today.

In addition to Flenex FW, Fujifilm will also use Labelexpo 2017 to showcase its comprehensive range of Uvivid narrow web inks and ancillaries. Designed to maximise throughput and simplify the label production process, this range is specially formulated to deliver best-in-class performance on narrow web presses.
