Grass Valley at IBC 2016: Live Production, News, Content Delivery and Networking Solutions that Enable Content Your Way
MONTREAL, September 8, 2016 In an era when content so clearly defines the broadcast market, Grass Valley, a Belden Brand, is helping its customers take control of content to make more money from delivering it to viewers in the many places they are watching. IBC 2016 marks the launch of the companys Content Your Way vision, which represents a commitment to giving broadcasters the tools to create, control and connect content wherever, however and whenever it is consumed. New and enhanced solutions in live production, news, content delivery and networking are highlighted on the Grass Valley stand, 1.D11.
IBC this year marks a real change in the way we are presenting our solutions to the market. Its all about supporting open standards and putting together integrated solutions that address the demand for new types of content for new channels, explained Marco Lopez, president, Grass Valley. From the higher expectations viewers have for live productions or the demand for real-time news to the shift toward IP-based workflows, our customers are facing a number of challenges. We are at IBC to show them how they can turn those challenges into lucrative opportunities.
In addition to all the demonstrations and discussions happening on the Grass Valley stand, the company and its leaders are involved in a variety of projects and seminars throughout the show:
Daily Grass Valley is participating in the VRT-EBU LiveIP project at IBC, which is a full IP-based, multi-vendor production set-up, including studio and control room, to provide daily content for IBC TV while demonstrating the future of live content production based on open standards on stand 8.D10
Daily Grass Valley is participating in the IBC IP Interoperability Zone, organized by the Alliance for IP Media Solutions (AIMS) and the IABM to showcase the value of collaboration and true industry interoperability

Monday, September 12 at 11:00am in the Technology in Action Theatre in Hall 3, Stand B22 Dafydd Rees, Deputy Director of Operations at Arena TV, along with a Grass Valley representative, will present Making the Leap to All-IP, 4K UHD Outside Broadcasting, discussing Arena TVs latest project
