Palesa Matjeka had her magical moment on 11 November 2022 at the Theatre of Marcellus at Emperors Palace in Kempton Park. The wife, mother of two and businesswoman shined among many beautiful wives contestants in a glamorous event.

Hlengiwe Sabela, 39, from Durban was the first runner-up, with L char Knezovich, 32, from Midrand the second runner-up.

The show was hosted by the Espresso TV presenter and singer-songwriter Katlego Maboe.

Palesa is a youth mentor. Her passion for the youth is so visible. She recently hosted a Girls lives matter' with young girls. She empowers them through motivational talks about issues affect young girls today.

SHE'S AN ADVOCATE TO FIGHT CANCER

The new Mrs South Africa is very vocal about issues regarding cancer. She's a part of the Cancer Association of South Africa (CANSA). Cancer affects so many South Africans and breast cancer is rife.

SHE'S A GLOBAL SPEAKER

Our new reigning queen is not just a pretty face. She's also a public speaker. Palesa Matjekane done motivational talks all over the world about her journey of perseverance and courage.

LIFE COACH

On top of her many roles, Palesa is also a life coach who helps people live better lives in their journey to emotional wellness.

SHE'S A JET-SETTER

With being a businesswoman, a mother and a wife, the new Mrs South Africa finds pleasure in taking vacations to relax. With her new schedule, will she take one anytime soon? We'll see.
