The Carolina Panthers and Capitol Broadcasting Company (CBC) announced they have expanded their partnership to air live Panthers games in the Triangle region on MIX 101.5 (WRAL-FM) beginning this fall. This contract extension through 2027 will make play-by-play broadcasts for all pre-season, regular season and post-season games, as well as the weekly Panther Talk and daily Panthers Update programs, available to listeners on one of the strongest FM signals in North Carolina.
We are extremely pleased to augment an exceptional multi-media broadcasting partnership between the Panthers and Capitol Broadcasting, said Eric Fiddleman, Carolina Panthers Affiliate Manager. The addition of one of the largest radio signals in North Carolina in MIX 101.5, coupled with the simulcast on The Buzz and a continued presence on 99.9 The Fan, will provide ample listening opportunities for fans of the Panthers/NFL in the Triangle and well beyond. CBC's radio and television stations are much appreciated partners. These affiliations are a crucial element of our efforts to best serve the fan base.
MIX 101.5 is CBC's flagship radio station with a broadcast footprint that extends from Greensboro to Greenville and Lumberton to southern Virginia, reaching more North Carolinians than any other station in the state. While the format of MIX 101.5 will continue to be adult contemporary, the station is already a hub for local, live sports, using its far-reaching signal to broadcast NC State football and basketball. The station is also committed to local community-building efforts including its partnership with Duke Children's Hospital that has raised more than $20M and will celebrate its 30th anniversary at the end of this year.

Play-by-play for Panthers games will be carried on MIX 101.5 and simulcast on Buzz Sports Radio (620AM, 104.5 FM, 99.9 FM HD2). CBC will continue its local, dedicated coverage and analysis of the Carolina Panthers on 99.9 The Fan (WCMC-FM) and Buzz Sports Radio along with audio streaming and podcasts. 99.9 The Fan remains the flagship radio station for the Carolina Hurricanes, reflecting CBC's steadfast commitment to a comprehensive local sports broadcast portfolio.
