Digitalmeister GmbH (abtipper.de) - a German transcription and translation agency that is looking to expand into the world of subtitles, has selected SubtitleNEXT to support its high-volume AV translation projects.
Armed with the latest version 5.10 of SubtitleNEXT and the New Floating License possibilities, the transcripts and subtitle files at Digitalmeister are generated by the professional audiovisual translator team.
The SubtitleNEXT system has already been put to work at Digitalmeister and will be used in many projects. Transcription and translation clients at Digitalmeister include the likes of big corporate brands such as Daimler, BMW, Mini, GFK, Sennheiser, Bahlsen, Robert Koch Institute and German media companies such as Brigitte, BILD, arte, Hessischer Rundfunk.
Digitalmeister is an established innovation leader in transcriptions, with an extensive portfolio of over 20,000 high profile projects behind its name. The company delivers transcription services across 80 languages plus regional accents, dialects and accents. Digitalmeister has successfully taken on numerous projects for non-profit organisations too, including Save the Children and FIBS and also supports world-class academic institutions such as the University of Darmstadt, Harvard University, Zurich University and many others.
We've only recently started out with subtitles and are realising more and more projects, so far, mostly for online platforms such as YouTube videos, internal corporate communication and so forth. My team and I purchased SubtitleNEXT in August this year to improve the quality of our subtitles as well as our workflow. Since then, we're very pleased with all the features the software provides, such as speech-to-text, various formats, as well as hardcoding and the facilitated timing options. New features in SubtitleNEXT version 5.10 include integration with newsroom editing systems such as AVID, iNews and Octopus, real-time live subtitling with one or two stages respeaking capability, dictation corrections plus more, which are compatible with You Tube, Zoom, Decklink, Newfor and others.
