Leyard and Planar show striking display for television studios solutions at IBC Leyard and Planar come by time first to IBC after its fusion under a same stand in which videowalls LED and displays LCD is dan the hand configuring an extensive portfolio of proposals.

After the purchase of Planar on the part of LeyardIBC 2016 has been the first time in Europe in which both companies exhibit in a single space displays and LED cabinets where as a sign of an extensive catalogue of solutions.

For broadcast Studio applications, Leyard has an interesting range with a pixel pitch of 1.2, 1.6 and 1.8 mm. In this case the TWA/TW series are already being used in numerous dishes of televisions around the world since they support a configuration in videowall LED with a very fine pitch and a technology that minimizes the space between the different cabinets of 54 ". In addition, have been designed to achieve the maximum efficiency energy and minimum emission of heat.

Another of the lines optimized for studies is the TVH (available in 1.6, 1.9 and 2.5 mm) with cabinets of 19.5 "LED.

As example of performance of these series in studies of tv, fits highlight that NBC Olympics installed for the coverage of the games of River two videowalls, one of them formed by 169 screens LED (series TVH) and another by 56 displays, both with a separation between pixels of 1.9 m. and ultra high resolution of graphics.

Outdoor set, NBC opted for the installation of a LED video wall consisting of 108 screens in this series, with a pixel pitch of 2,5 mm.

It is of note that Leyard TVH allows the adjustment of the image to achieve temperatures of specific broadcasting color and gamma with accuracy levels, since it is designed to produce deeper blacks, a greater contrast and less reflection in the camera.

In Leyard in this IBC booth attracted attention also a curved LED surface formed by CarbonLight classic series modules. Available in 1.5 and 1.9 mm, its design allows to create small radius curves (concave, convex or wave-shaped) or angles from 45 to 90 degrees.

Another of the solutions that more game can give in a dish for surprise to the viewer are the screens OLED transparent. These allow placed to presenters or objects behind them creating a striking effect.

Display

In display, Planar provides numerous proposed in glass and touch. At IBC we can see, for example, a video wall consisting of panels MX55HDX with a bezel of separation of just 1.6 mm and source and remote control away from the surface.

On the other hand, the series EP in 50, 58 and 65 "are screens LCD in 4 K that include a slot for SDI facilitating their installation in studies or controls of realization.
