Image Matters has joined forces with IBEX Technology to deliver highly configurable proprietary image Codecs in the origami Ecosystem. Leveraging this cutting-edge technology and unique modularity, OEM's and System Integrators can now deliver highly efficient proprietary image Codecs to meet the needs of the ever-demanding and changing IP distribution systems.

Image Matters will be showcasing IBEX Technology's image compression at IBC-2017 on their B20 FPGA module and highly connected B21 carrier board. The B20-B21 couple is a PCIe platform to deploy fast efficient high-end video applications using the extreme power and connectivity of the Xilinx Kintex Ultrascale 060 FPGA. It supports six Gigabit transceivers on three SFP cages as well as a PCIe GEN3 8x/16x bus, and the B20-B21 combination can deliver video throughput of up to 8K/60p uncompressed.

Image Matters origami breakthrough modular approach guarantees future-proof and adaptable hardware designs. Decoupling processing power from the application layer, the origami Interposer connector and its tremendous bandwidth (1150 pins validated at 26Gbps) creates agility and speed in hardware development.
