Life is reportedly imitating art between Uzalo actors Thuthuka Mthembu and Sandile Masandi Mfusi who are said to be dating on and off the screen.

The two actors are a couple on the SABC 1 soapie and according to the Daily Sun, their love has spilt over into their lives when the cameras are off.

THUTHUKA AND MASANDI ARE HEAD OVER HEELS IN LOVE A source has told the outlet that Thuthuka (who plays Nonka) and Masandi (Kwanda) are very much in love with each other in real life.

According to the insider, who is reportedly close to the Uzalo stars, the couple fell inlove shortly after Masandi who is also a musician joined the show.

They are in love, but they want to keep it private because they don't want it to affect their work. They don't want the public to know, the source claimed.

It is, however, reported that the couple is showing off its love to those close to them.

After attending a colleague's funeral over the weekend, Thuthuka posted their photo on WhatsApp and wrote boyfriend and I said the source.

Uzalo s line producer Mandisa Mngeni passed away on Sunday, 14 August 2022. The sad news of her passing was announced by the soapie on social media.

COLLEAGUES ARE HAPPY FOR THEM' The publication reports that it got in touch with two other sources who corroborated the rumours about the Uzalo actors.

It's easy for them to play being lovers as they are romantically involved. Everyone in the production knows. And, most of their colleagues are happy for them. They are good together and almost the same age, said another source.

Thuthuka also loves the fact that Masandi is a churchgoer. He's a man of God and is not a player.

In addition, the insider claimed that Masandi loves the fact that Thuthuka is a focused young lady.

However, both media personalities declined to comment on the romance rumours.

NONKA AND KWANDA IN UZALO' Thuthuka and Masandi's characters in Uzalo were head over heels in love until Kwanda's lies caught up with him.

Nonka, like Thuthuka, is a churchgoer and focused young lady. However, Masandi's character is the complete opposite of who he is off-screen.

In Uzalo, Nonka discovers that her beloved Kwanda is a liar and a drug dealer. Her luxurious lifestyle ends in a flash when she finds herself in jail for Kwanda's sins.
