El Comit Directivo del DVB aprueba una nueva especificaci n para subtitulado El subtitulado DVB TTML se une a la familia de especificaciones UHD de cara a proporcionar la uniformidad para la entrega de subt tulos en plataformas basadas sobre IP.
En su ltima reuni n del Comit Directivo del DVB ha aprobado la nueva especificaci n para subtitulado DVB TTML. sta permitir la la entrega de subt tulos de nueva generaci n en streams de transporte sobre servicios de televisi n bas ndose en el lenguaje de marcado de texto temporizado W3C (TTML). La nueva especificaci n complementa las soluciones de subt tulos basadas en mapas de bits, que han estado en uso durante m s de veinte a os.
Los subt tulos de TTML son cada vez m s adoptados, incluyendo los organismos de estadarizaci n ARIB, ATSC, EBU, SMPTE, ISO / MPEG, especificaci n Common Media Application Format y muchos otros incluyendo plataformas como HbbTV. Estos subt tulos fueron elegidos inicialmente por DVB para la entrega de servicios en Internet utilizando el perfil DVB de MPEG DASH (TS103 285) y proporcionan una soluci n eficiente de velocidad de datos para resoluciones SD, HD e incluso UHD.
Esta nueva especificaci n de entrega TTML permitir a los proveedores de servicios la transici n en el tiempo a un formato de subt tulos TTML com n para la difusi n y servicios de Internet.
La aprobaci n del transporte de flujo de transporte de la especificaci n TTML a ade un componente muy importante a las especificaciones DVB, sobre todo en cuanto a soporte a los subt tulos UHD. Esto tambi n proporciona un mecanismo de subtitulaci n com n entre el flujo de transporte y el contenido entregado de DASH y, siendo un formato basado en texto, abre una gama de nuevas posibilidades para mejorar la accesibilidad de los servicios , ha asegurado Peter MacAvock, presidente del DVB.
Los servicios de acceso facilitados por la nueva especificaci n de DVB son una piedra angular de en los nuevos entornos de radiodifusi n. La especificaci n de subt tulos de bitmapping existente de DVB ahora tiene un complemento que facilita el subtitulado en diferentes plataformas y ayuda a DVB a atender la creciente demanda de contenido accesible en todas las plataformas , a ade MacAvock.
La especificaci n se ha publicado como BlueBook A174 y se ha remitido al ETSI para su estandarizaci n como EN (European Norm). De esta forma, la especificaci n TTML tendr un rango similar a la basada en mapa de bits (EN 300 743).
