G tersloh, Germany. Just in time for the start of the new season, the new FUSSBALL.DE app is ready to go. With the mobile version of Germanys largest amateur football portal, the German Football Association (DFB) provides clear and fast updates to players and fans - including goals, tables and schedules. The extensive data about the countless amateur leagues come from DFBnet, the official system for organizing all the planning and running of matches in Germany.

The FUSSBALL.DE update was designed and managed by Medienfabrik and offers a more convenient and quicker overview of all clubs, leagues and teams in German amateur football - right down to the lowest divisions and to the mini footballers in the G-youth leagues.

The Bertelsmann subsidiary Medienfabrik played alongside the technical experts of its sister company arvato Systems during the implementation. "A perfect line-up for providing the customer DFB-Medien with a Champions League level of assistance," says Stefan Postler, CEO of Medienfabrik.

Shortly after the opening whistle went for the FUSSBALL.DE app, positive feedback about the update was received from the user fan base, which is composed of players, coaches, referees and other interested parties. They praised the clearer menu navigation and shorter loading times. The revised app also offers completely new features, including individual menu items that can note which favorite teams have been accessed, for example.
