The Tiffen Company Announces 2019 Official Steadicam Workshop dates through AbelCine

Looking to continually educate and inspire, The Tiffen Company, the leading manufacturer of imaging accessories for the consumer/professional imaging and the motion picture and broadcast television industries, announces today its schedule of 2019 Official Steadicam Workshops through AbelCine. Offering two levels of hands-on training - Bronze and Silver - the Steadicam multi-day workshops feature expert instructors teaching camera operators essential skills and proper technique, covering multiple sizes of Steadicam rigs.

"Steadicam is such a commonly used tool within the film and television industry, but it does require proper training and practice to use effectively, said Andrew Tiffen, SVP of Marketing, The Tiffen Company. "Focusing on relevant and practical training, the Steadicam series of workshops have been designed to put the power of Steadicam in the hands of camera operators of varying levels of experience so they can successfully produce the creative footage desired by producers and directors."

The Steadicam Bronze Workshop is a unique opportunity for prospective operators to learn the use and application of Steadicam, concentrating on the lighter systems within the Steadicam product line.

The Steadicam Silver Workshop is a unique opportunity for working camera operators to learn the use and application of Steadicam within the film and television world. Each workshop is hands-on with plenty of practical time wearing and using the system.
