Former Muvhango actress Omuhle Gela, who plays the character of Nomaswazi Magwaza in Uzalo has left the SABC1 soapie after the terms of her contract were reportedly altered.

INSIDE OMUHLE GELA'S DRAMATIC EXIT The actress Omuhle Gela confirmed on her Instagram account that she's decided to leave Uzalo as the calculating Nomaswazi Magwaza.

I've unfortunately made the decision to leave the show with immediate effect, everything said on this article is 100% true and I have nothing further to add or dispute.

A source informed Zimoja that the actress decided not to show up for a shoot over the terms of her contract being changed after she moved from Johannesburg to KwaZulu-Natal for the show.

The actress, who is popularly known for her role as Busi in Muvhango joined season eight of Uzalo to play the daughter of Njinji (played by former Isibaya actress Thembi Nyandeni).

The actress is the second Magwaza character to exit the Stained Glass TV production after Siyabonga Radebe, who played her cousin Vika Magwaza.

Entertainment commentator Phil Mphela reported in August that popular actor Siyabonga Siya B Radebe quit Uzalo barely six months after joining the soapie.

According to Channel 24, Radebe joined the eighth season with actors Thembi Nyandeni, and Omuhle Gela in the KwaMashu-set in the form of the Magwaza family.
