-- Nov.21, 2023 - Cesson-Sevigne, France -. Broadpeak , a leading provider of content delivery network (CDN) and video streaming solutions for content providers and pay-TV operators worldwide, announced today that Cristiano Barbieri has joined the company as Sales Director Content Providers LATAM.
Cristiano will focus on growing Broadpeak's sales within the content providers market in Latin America, leveraging the company's portfolio and video streaming expertise.
In a competitive environment, and with the transition to all digital streaming, video service providers are looking for compelling ways to monetize their content and their services. This brings exciting opportunities! said Cristiano Barbieri. With Broadpeak's experience in streaming and its API-based SaaS platform broadpeak.io, we have the solutions to make it easy for content providers and broadcasters to transition smoothly to ABR streaming and monetize their content.
We are very pleased that Cristiano is strengthening our team in LATAM said Arnault Lannuzel, VP Sales LATAM and South Europe. He brings a long experience of sales development in the broadcast industry, in particular supporting content providers with their live and post-production activities.
Prior to joining Broadpeak, Cristiano occupied several positions as sales executive at Grass Valley, Canon, EVS and EditShare. Cristiano graduated in telecommunications engineering and holds an MBA in project management.
