NetApp Wins a Bersin & Associates 2010 Learning Leaders Award Sunnyvale, Calif.-April 21, 2010-NetApp announced today that its education and training organization, NetApp University, won a Bersin & Associates 2010 Learning Leaders Award in the Learning Organization and Governance Excellence category. This annual award recognizes organizations that developed and implemented effective and efficient approaches to employee learning and talent management resulting in significant business improvement. This award is one of several recent accolades that highlight NetApp Universitys innovative use of technology to support corporate training programs.
NetApps learning organization has managed to build out effective workflows and awareness of what work each group is doing and how the handoffs occur, said Stacey Harris, principal analyst with Bersin & Associates. The organizations sophisticated approach to measuring the impact of formal and informal learning provides a solid platform for business discussions, supports alignment, and ensures that it is meeting the needs of its customers, channel partners, and employees.
NetApp University is an organization within NetApp, dedicated to providing education and training to help customers get the most value and quickest ROI on their NetApp products. The organization is also for employees and channel partners training to increase operational efficiency and product knowledge.
In addition to the Bersin & Associates Learning Leaders Award, NetApp University won the Saba Customer Excellence Award for Business Impact, recognizing how the organization was able to dramatically increase enrollment by improving operations and accessibility.
