The Queen viewers are thrilled that the telenovela is ending in 2023 and wouldn't even entertain the idea of any spin-offs when entertainment commentator Phil Mphela asked if they'd watch a Brutus and Sons spin-off.

Another viewer ran a poll which revealed that majority of the Mzansi Magic audience have lost interest in the Ferguson Films telenovela.

NO BRUTUS AND SONS SPIN-OFF' The debate about Brutus (Themba Ndaba) and his sons having a spin-off from The Queen began when entertainment commentator Phil Mphela asked:
If Brutus and his sons got a spin-off show when #TheQueenMzansi ends, would you watch?
Mphela ran the poll after revealing that the telenovela is still the second most-watched show on DStv despite the show getting cancelled in 2023.
The show is performing relatively well and pulled below 1-million viewers, it peaked at 940k, the show is still the second most watched show on DStv.
Fans of the show also revealed that they skip scenes when Brutus and his sons appear on-screen as they're not convinced by their chemistry and storylines.

Some even revealed that some of Brutus' sons can't act, while others said they can't wait for the whole show to get cancelled.
Mzansi Magic surprised viewers of The Queen when it announced that the show is getting canned after six seasons. TVSA announced that the seventh and final season will begin on Monday, 25 July.
