Schaeffler-Standort Luckenwalde mit neuem Produkt Rollenst el

Die Bundesministerin f r Bildung und Forschung, Prof. Dr. Johanna Wanka, hat sich bei einem Besuch des Schaeffler-Standortes Luckenwalde ber die modernen und innovativen Fertigungsmethoden des Technologiekonzerns informiert. Beim Rundgang mit Prof. Dr. Peter Pleus, Vorstand Automotive der Schaeffler AG, startete die Ministerin symbolisch die Produktion eines neuen Rollenst el-Moduls. Dabei handelt es sich um hochpr zise Bauteile einer neuen, kraftstoffsparenden Diesel-Hochdruckpumpe f r die neueste Generation von Common-Rail-Einspritzsystemen. Prof. Dr. Peter Pleus machte die Bedeutung des neuen Produktes im Zusammenhang mit der strategischen Ausrichtung des Konzerns deutlich: Pr zisionstechnologien f r sparsame und umweltfreundliche Antriebe stehen im Mittelpunkt des Schaeffler-Produktportfolios. Wir bei Schaeffler setzen auf die zunehmende Elektrifizierung des Antriebsstrangs mit Hybrid- und vollelektrischen Fahrzeugen. Aber auch in den n chsten Jahren wird der Verbrennungsmotor die vorherrschende Antriebsform bleiben. Daher hat die Optimierung des Verbrennungsmotors f r Schaeffler weiterhin einen zentralen Stellenwert.
Bedeutung und Innovationskraft der deutschen Zulieferindustrie
Bundesforschungsministerin Prof. Dr. Johanna Wanka sagte bei ihrem Besuch: Die Innovationskraft in Deutschland steigt. Wir verzeichnen einen neuen Rekord bei den Ausgaben der Industrie f r Forschung und Entwicklung. Das liegt stark an dem Engagement der am Automobilbau beteiligten Unternehmen. Die Bundesregierung hat in den letzten Jahren mit der Hightech-Strategie und mit deutlich mehr Ausgaben f r Forschungsf rderung zu dieser erfreulichen Entwicklung beigetragen.
Forschung und Entwicklung sichert Unternehmenserfolg
Als zukunftsorientiertes Unternehmen investiert Schaeffler in besonderem Ma e in Forschung und Entwicklung. Weltweit arbeiten ber 6.400 Mitarbeiter in 16 Forschungs- und Entwicklungszentren in enger Abstimmung mit den Kunden an neuen, technologisch und wirtschaftlich berzeugenden L sungen. Allein im Jahr 2014 f hrte dieses Engagement zu 2.518 neuen Patentanmeldungen. Damit nimmt Schaeffler eine Spitzenposition unter den erfindungsst rksten Unternehmen in Deutschland ein und geh rt seit Jahren zu den innovativsten Automobilzulieferern. Etwa 75 Prozent der Wertsch pfung eines Automobils und rund 50 Prozent des Entwicklungsaufwandes werden inzwischen von Zulieferern erbracht. Die Aufwendungen der Schaeffler Gruppe f r Forschung und Entwicklung liegen j hrlich bei deutlich ber 600 Millionen Euro. Das derzeit schnellste Entwicklungslabor ist erfolgreich in der Formel E unterwegs, der weltweit ersten Serie f r elektrisch betriebene Rennwagen.
Schaeffler bietet L sungen f r alle Mobilit tskonzepte
In der Automotive-Sparte arbeitet Schaeffler an Technologien f r die unterschiedlichsten Antriebskonzepte, die den vielf ltigen Anforderungen innerhalb der Automobilindustrie gerecht werden. Komponenten und Systeme f r Fahrzeuge mit verbrennungsmotorischem Antriebsstrang geh ren ebenso dazu wie Anwendungen f r Hybrid- und Elektrofahrzeuge. Damit tragen Pr zisionsprodukte von Schaeffler entscheidend dazu bei, dass Motoren weniger Kraftstoff verbrauchen und immer strengere Abgasnormen einhalten. Gleichzeitig erh hen sie Fahrkomfort und Fahrdynamik und verl ngern Wartungsintervalle und Lebensdauer.
Luckenwalde traditionsreicher Standort
Das Werk in Luckenwalde hat eine mehr als 90-j hrige, vom Wandel gepr gte Geschichte. 1923 als Hutfabrik gegr ndet, wechselte das Unternehmen danach mehrmals den Besitzer. 1957 wurde mit dem Aufbau der Produktion im Volkseigenen Betrieb W lzlagerwerk Luckenwalde begonnen. Hergestellt wurden Motorenteile f r Autos der DDR-Modelle Trabant und Wartburg . Im November 1984 unterzeichnete Dr. Georg Schaeffler im Au enhandelsministerium der DDR einen Lizenzvertrag zur Fertigung von Tassenst eln. Mitte 1988 begann die Lizenz-Produktion mit rund 70 Maschinen f r j hrlich 3,6 Millionen Tassenst el. Die Wende brachte das Ende des Werkes, das bis auf die Tassenst el-Produktion geschlossen wurde. Nach der bernahme des Standortes mit etwa 150 Mitarbeitern im Jahr 1992 ist die Schaeffler Technologies AG & Co. KG heute mit rund 440 Mitarbeitern der gr te gewerbliche Arbeitgeber in Luckenwalde. Hergestellt werden Komponenten f r Ventiltriebe in Verbrennungsmotoren. Am Standort werden etwa 25 Nachwuchskr fte in den Berufen Industriemechaniker/in, Werkzeugmechaniker/in, Kaufmann/-frau f r B romanagement und im dualen Studiengang Maschinenbau ausgebildet. Im n chsten Jahr feiert das Werk die 25-j hrige Zugeh rigkeit zur Schaeffler Gruppe.
