The Quirino Iberoamericana Animation Awards They have revealed titles nominated in nine categories de su segunda edici n, que se celebrar el pr ximo 6 de abril en Santa Cruz de Tenerife (Espa a).
La selecci n refleja por segundo a o consecutivo la diversidad de obras que se producen en el espacio iberoamericano, combinando trabajos de cineastas consagrados con obras de nuevos talentos.
La lista incluye los ltimos filmes de directores como los argentinos Sebasti n Mignona y Cecilia Atan, los chilenos Gabriel Osorio y lvaro Ceppi, el espa ol Ra l de la Fuente o el brasile o Rafael Ribas, entre otros. El comit de selecci n, compuesto por la polaca Agnieszka Kowalewska-Skowron, el franc s Lo c Portier, el irland s Barry O'Donoghue, y los espa oles Paco Rodr guez y Zulay Rodr guez, ha tenido la dif cil tarea de seleccionar las obras nominadas entre las 244 postulaciones recibidas.
In the list of nominations highlights plurality of countries represented, un total de ocho (Argentina, Brasil, Chile, Colombia, Espa a, M xico, Per y Portugal), encabezados por Espa a (21 nominaciones), Brasil (13) y Argentina (8).
Tres obras espa olas comparten el liderazgo con mayor n mero de nominaciones (3): los cortos ferris wheel and I am a tomb; y la obra por encargo Lorenzo Live 2018 Intro; en tanto que once obras aspiran a ser seleccionadas en dos categor as. En cuanto a t cnicas, destaca la presencia de obras realizadas en 2D, 3D y stop-motion, as como la experimentaci n con otras, como cut out, rotoscop a o animaci n con arena.
Con amplia representaci n de filmes orientados a p blico joven y adulto, seis largometrajes aspiran al Premio Quirino: los brasile os Tito and Birds and Lino - A Seven Pounds Adventure; los espa oles Another Day of Life and Bu uel in the labyrinth of the turtles; el chileno The Wolf House and the Colombian Virus Tropical.
Six works competing in the category series, dominada por la producci n brasile a, con tres t tulos: Cupcake e Dino: Servi os Gerais, Irm o do Jorel Seja Br colis! and Super Drags. Chile le sigue con Small and the second season Puerto Papel La vida de los otros (la primera fue reconocida con el Premio Quirino 2018); mientras que la quinta nominada es la espa ola Cleo & Cuquin.
In the Short category son seis los filmes seleccionados: los portugueses Omen and the shadows, los espa oles ferris wheel and I am a tomb, el brasile o Guaxuma and Argentina Ian. Por su parte, cabe destacar la presencia de directoras en la categor a de obras de escuela, en la que representan el 50% de las obras nominadas: las mexicanas Carnival and Reverie, las espa olas Azar and Patchwork, la brasile a 8 Patas and Portuguese The hat.
Los trabajos nominados ser n evaluados por un jurado internacional, que seleccionar tres trabajos finalistas en cada categor a. La selecci n se anunciar en Madrid el 19 de febrero.
Coproduction Forum and Congress Los Premios Quirino de la Animaci n Iberoamericana mantienen abierta las convocatorias para participar en el Foro de coproducci n y el Congreso Internacional, las dos actividades profesionales que se desarrollar n los d as 5 y 6 de abril.
La preinscripci n para el Foro de Coproducci n, dirigida a empresas, productoras o canales de televisi n iberoamericanas o con inter s en Iberoam rica, est abierta hasta el pr ximo 30 de enero. Entre las compa as inscriptas se realizar una selecci n, que otorgar acreditaci n gratuita y preferencia en la participaci n. Posteriormente se abrir una segunda fase de inscripci n hasta el 7 de febrero, en la que las acreditaciones tendr n un coste de 60 euros.
El encuentro congregar a profesionales de la regi n en reuniones B2B, mesas de trabajo y presentaciones del estado de la industria en diferentes territorios. En la pasada edici n, el Foro congreg a m s de 300 profesionales siendo seg n los participantes un punto de encuentro necesario y til para la industria de la animaci n.
Por su parte, la segunda edici n del Congreso Internacional, que busca suscitar un intercambio interdisciplinar entre la academia y la profesi n en torno a la animaci n y la tecnolog a, recibe propuestas hasta el 30 de enero. La selecci n ser notificada el pr ximo 14 de febrero.
