Kuala Lumpur, 12th October 2015 After months of tireless rehearsal by Astro Xiao Tai Yang talents, A Fantasy Journey 2', a children's educational-themed musical, was successfully staged to entertain over 1,000 parents and kids at KuAsh Theatre, Taman Tun Dr. Ismail in Kuala Lumpur.

It was an amazing and challenging experience to act, sing and dance at the same time with the younger cast members who have boundless energy, said the host and personality of Astro Xiao Tai Yang, Danny Koo.

At times, I went off-script and improvised my lines when I couldn't remember my script. My cast members were not amused by this, Koo jokingly confessed. The other cast; Vivienne Oon, Elaine Lee, Ron Phang, Nicholas Kung and Melissa Ong nodded approvingly at his confession.

A Fantasy Journey was presented by Astro Xiao Tai Yang to celebrate the children edu-tainment channel's 8th anniversary this year. The musical featured a magical forest habituated by mystical animals, which were played by 18 multi-talented kids, aged 8 to 13. They were participants from Kids Talent Show 2014, one of the channel's flagship programmes in 2014.

Chong Sun Sun, Astro Xiao Tai Yang channel manager said, We are pleased to stage the musical again during the Mid-Autumn Festival with five shows entertaining over 1,000 spectators, after its successful debut in early 2015.

The production of A Fantasy Journey 2'was spectacular, with a grand and colourful stage and prop, energetic choreography and witty dialogues. We are pleased with the overwhelming response from the parents and kids, added Chong.

She said one of the memorable scenes was the creation of gigantic waves using a huge piece of cloth. The effect of these huge waves was surreal and exciting for the audiences as they glide over the audience.

Learning can be fun. At Astro Xiao Tai Yang, we make learning fun by promoting interactive on-ground events like meet-and-greet and school camps, as well as providing the kids opportunities to take part in our productions such as Balik Kampung and The Little Travelers that enrich their learning experience outside the classroom, said Chong.
