The Nordics are one of Europe's fastest growing hubs for infrastructure. AI clouds are expanding with a projected 1 gigawatts of capacity to be deployed across the region by the end of 2027. Among these cloud providers are Bitdeer, CoreWeave, Crusoe, Hyperstack, Nscale, Verda and Volta.
In Sweden, a consortium anchored by Ericsson, AstraZeneca, Saab, SEB and Wallenberg Investments, with SKF as strategic partner, launched Sferical One - a shared supercomputer running on two NVIDIA DGX SuperPODs with 16 racks of NVIDIA DGX GB300 systems and 1,152 GPUs. ABB Robotics developed RobotStudio HyperReality using NVIDIA Omniverse libraries to bridge the gap between robot simulations and real-world performance. By combining NVIDIA's advanced simulation capabilities with ABB Robotics' virtual controller, running the same firmware as its physical robots, the solution enables engineers to train, test and validate robots virtually, while using real-world data to continuously improve the digital model. Finnish telecom company Elisa is launching a beta of Moontalk AIRI, a real-time enterprise agentic assistant that retrieves information, captures insights and documents decisions during meetings and calls.
