HHP's son Leano (R) - who is the spitting image of him - is going to continue the legacy of the late rapper who passed away in 2018.

Late South African rapper Jabulani HHP Tsambo's son Leano Khanye has decided to do what the Bosso hitmaker did best, which is to rap.

Speaking at his father's tombstone unveiling at Hero's Acre, Matlalong, on Saturday 29 October, 16-year-old Leano said that all he is passionate about is pursuing a career in the hip-hop industry.

Hip Hop Pantsula, otherwise known as HHP or Jabba, was buried in November 2018 after taking his life in October of that year.

LEANO WANTS TO CONTINUE HIS FATHER HHP'S LEGACY HHP battled with depression for years. In 2016, HHP shared that he had attempted to take his own life three times. Close friend and rapper Motlapele Mo' Molemi Morule said the musician struggled with questions that couldn't be answered.

In a tribute to the late music icon on Saturday, his son shared that he wishes he was still around to guide him especially now that he wants to pursue his music career.

This is a whole different generation I wish my dad was here to hear my music because I feel like I've improved with my talents and stuff I was bad. I can't sing guys I can rap, that's all I do.

I want to be there when people come and go. I want to be there with my family. They are always supporting me every step of the way. I want to see everyone grow up and start smiling.

Rapper Lerothodi Towdeemac Moagi, who shared the video of Leano's speech, wrote:

Leano is a spitting image of his dad and he even has his mannerisms when he speaks. He's also a natural born leader, as you can clearly see here
