Anders Ohlon Joins WideOrbit to Lead Technical Product Management of its Radio Traffic Solution

Seasoned Software Engineer, Blogger and Respected Delphi Software Guru Joins Leading Media Software Vendor

San Francisco, August 28, 2013-WideOrbit Inc., the leading provider of advertising management software for media companies, is pleased to announce the appointment of Anders Ohlsson as Technical Product Manager, WO Traffic for Radio, the company's leading advertising sales, traffic and billing solution for broadcast radio stations. Based in San Francisco, Ohlsson is responsible for driving the vision and technical roadmap for WO Traffic for Radio.

Ohlsson is a seasoned software engineer with more than 26 years of experience. A respected conference speaker, frequent webinar host and avid technical writer and blogger, Ohlsson brings a wealth of knowledge, domain expertise and leadership to WideOrbit's radio traffic team. An expert coder in many software languages, Ohlsson is highly proficient in Delphi , the programming language used in several WideOrbit products. Most recently, Ohlsson was Staff Engineer for the Developer Relations team at Embarcadero Technologies where he managed all aspects of the company's developer and technical partner programs, including the Developer Network website and even top-tier customer support. Ohlsson also curated and hosted developer conferences, technical webinars, numerous technical articles and blogs. Prior to Embarcadero, Ohlsson held key engineering positions at Borland Software Corporation, CodeGear (Borland's subsidiary) and Inprise Corporation. Ohlsson was also Research Engineer for the Defense Research Institute in Stockholm, Sweden.
