Sky commiions Ro Kemp: Extreme World Series Six for Sky

Sky has today announced that it has greenlit a sixth season of the hard-hitting documentary series, Extreme World, fronted by BAFTA award-winning documentary maker, Ross Kemp. The show will premiere next year on Sky1 and will also be available on online streaming service NOW TV.

Produced by Freshwater Films, the series will follow Ross Kemp as he travels around the world, including Libya, and the USA as well as the United Kingdom. This series will see Ross tackling topics such as migrant smuggling across borders, the deadly consequences of the war on drugs and the rise of violent extremism.

Ross Kemp: Extreme World is a Freshwater Films production for Sky1 and will air in 2017. The new series will also be available on NOW TV with a NOW TV Entertainment Month Pass, priced just £6.99, no contract.

Executive producers for Freshwater Films are Ross Kemp and Tom Sheahan. The series producer is Marta Shaw. Siobhan Mulholland is the Commissioning Editor of the series for Sky1.
