VUZIX Basics Video Now Available for Public Sale as a SaaS Subscription via the Vuzix App Store

VUZIX Basics Video offers essential video collaboration functionality in a secure and simple to use SaaS (software as a service) subscription offering for the Vuzix M300 Smart Glasses.

VUZIX Basics Video v 1.0 is the result of several months of successful pilots of the beta version by a wide range of companies including GE Aviation, H-E-B, VIBCO and Life Cycle Engineering. Now anyone with an M300 can pay the low cost annual subscription fee, download the VUZIX Basics Video software, and immediately start collaborating. A one-year subscription of VUZIX Basics Video retails for $700. In two simple steps, VUZIX Basics Video connects field technicians with remote experts and central offices for real-time video/audio collaboration in a heads-up and hands-free environment enabled by Vuzix M300 Smart Glasses.

The launch of VUZIX Basics Video addresses the enterprise space by providing an affordable and standard solution for remote collaboration and support to companies worldwide. Additionally, VUZIX Basics Video and the Vuzix M300 enables virtually any entity to launch low risk, small scale pilots or accelerate their larger rollouts. This integrated solution should seed new pilots and proofs of concept for Vuzix M300s across a variety of market verticals and industries across the globe.
