While Barney (Neil Patrick Harris) works through his anger at Ted (Josh Radnor) after finding out he still has feelings for Robin (Cobie Smulders), Marshall (Jason Segal) calls in via webcam to help settle their dispute. Meanwhile, Lily (Alyson Hannigan) realizes she is Robins only female friend.

Danny (Randal Edwards), Sheldon (Harland Williams), and Ryan (Jay Malone) have a long and storied tradition of pranking one another. Feeling completely excluded, Kim (Julia Voth) tries to join in on the fun by pranking Sheldon, but her intricate plan backfires.

Meanwhile, a recording session for video company Ghost Childs new game, "Occue-Die Wall Street," gets out of hand when Crawford (Martin Mull) helps Warner (Giovanni Ribisi) with voice-over work.

M.E. Time

Much to the teams annoyance, Jake (Andy Samberg) hits on an attractive medical examiner, Dr. Rossi (guest star Mary Elizabeth Ellis, Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia), at a crime scene and holds up the autopsy report. Meanwhile, Sergeant Jeffords's (Terry Crews) hidden artistic talents are revealed when the sketch artist is out sick.

The Captain

A vengeful Schmidt (Max Greenfield) targets Jess (Zooey Deschanel) and Nicks (Jake Johnson) relatively happy relationship. Meanwhile, Winston (Lamorne Morris) is determined to give his cat one last night of carnal glory after learning he must be neutered.

Magic Morgan

According to Morgan (Ike Barinholtz), anyone who sleeps with him will find the love of their life immediately afterward. Curious to test this theory, Mindy (Mindy Kaling) takes Morgan up on his offer, but backs out at the last minute, humiliating Morgan and prompting him to sue her for sexual harassment. In order to end the lawsuit and get back into Morgans good graces, Mindy makes him an offer he cant refuse.

Cable Guy

As the group makes plans for receiving their winnings, Leanne (Anastasia Phillips) is tormented by the possibility that she is being followed and hatches a desperate plan. Meanwhile, Denise (Lorraine Bruce) sets up a meeting with "the cable guy" the woman she suspects is having an affair with her husband that leads to shocking results. Plus, Detective Minetti (Jason Weinberg, Red) is convinced that he has a break in the robbery case and wont stop until he cracks someone in the Gold Star family for information.

Love Story

While legions of tribesmen threaten all of Willoughby, Rachel (Elizabeth Mitchell) makes a brave attempt to rescue Miles (Billy Burke) and escape with an ailing tribesmans wife. Meanwhile, Charlie (Tracy Spiridakos) and Adam (recurring guest star Patrick Heusinger) are at odds over what to do with Monroe (David Lyons); and Aaron (Zak Orth) faces death yet again.
