David Scott aka The Kiffness has built up a cult following for his off-beat remixes of viral internet moments and collaborations with animals. The South African musician, producer and parody artist, who has just returned from a tour in Germany, has every reason to celebrate. Late-night talk show host Jimmy Fallon declared one of his cat songs an instant hit on The Tonight Show and even Bruce Springsteen gave it a thumbs-up!

His Let Me In mashup had Fallon in stitches when the neighbour's cat starts to sing. It wasn't long before the host started grooving to the music, exclaiming: I think it's a hit, come on!

Speaking to Texx And The City about featuring on the Do Not Play segment of the show, The Kiffness thanked his neighbour's cat and American musician Questlove.

I'd like to thank the neighbour's cat for making this possible, but a very special shout out to Questlove who was the first celebrity to share my first cat song [Alugalug Cat] on his Instagram Story.

Not sure how this song ended up on Jimmy Fallon, but I wouldn't be surprised if Questlove had a hand in it. Also seeing The Roots jamming to the song was the absolute cherry on top.

Questlove, who is the drummer and joint frontman for the hip-hop band The Roots, showed the musical parody genius's viral hit song Alugalug Cat some love on Instagram in 2021. Before long, even Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds gave the catchy tune a major thumbs-up.

Thumbs-up from Bruce Springsteen Back to the newfound fame and success of Let Me In on The Tonight Show. The Kiffness shared his excitement on Twitter about even Bruce Springsteen enjoying the song when Fallon played it to the legendary rocker.

An overjoyed Scott headed to social media on Wednesday 16 November to voice his excitement. He shared the clip on Facebook with the following words:

Apparently @jimmyfallon was playing one of my cat songs to Bruce Springsteen on #FallonTonight & he enjoyed it.

The Kiffness spoofs Charlize Theron dissing Afrikaans South African-born Hollywood star Charlize Theron slamming Afrikaans this week as not very helpful and labelling it as a dying language only spoken by about 44 people in South Africa , of course got the parody master going!

On Thursday 17 November, The Kiffness headed to Twitter to share an hilarious clip of a song in which he delivers an Afrikaans oral on his lekka lekka holiday by the sea. His tongue-in-cheek caption, reads:
