With their V__link4 for video contribution over IP, Lawo will present for the first time in Dubai their new video device, which allows the transport of 3G/HD-SDI signals compressed or uncompressed over IP network technology. The Lawo V__link4 includes everything from Video-over-IP coding to various testing and processing tools and increases the flexibility of any audio- and video application, while saving valuable rack-space, set-up time and production costs.

Also on show will be Lawo's V__pro 8, a compact, fully digital, eight-channel video processor comprising all of the glue features typically needed in the broadcast production workflow. With the new generation mc 56 returns a digital audio mixing console to Dubai boasting with new features: Lawo's compact mixer integrates the new mc AutoMix feature, which automatically adjusts the levels of active and inactive microphones while keeping a constant ambient level. This is a unique functionality for talk shows and panel discussions. AutoMix minimizes background noise and crosstalk and thus provides for a reduced coloration. Truncated sentences and late fade-ins are now things of the past.
