Chyron has announced updates to Chyron LIVE, its cloud-native live production platform, across releases LIVE 1.14 and 1.15. Updates include direct integration with Haivision StreamHub, SCTE-35 ad insertion, and a set of switcher, shortcut, and replay improvements.
LIVE 1.15: Haivision StreamHub Integration
LIVE 1.15 adds direct integration with Haivision StreamHub, allowing users to connect their StreamHub account and manage video inputs within the Chyron LIVE interface. The integration is designed to work with mobile contribution tools including Haivision's MoJoPro app.
Because LIVE operates as a 100% cloud-native workflow, integrating Haivision StreamHub seamlessly bridges the gap between the field and the studio, says Kristy Weir, Product Manager, Chyron LIVE. Users get a single, streamlined hub to ingest, manage, and distribute video from anywhere. Plus, when paired with the MoJoPro app, adding remote contributors is effortless, completely eliminating the friction of remote broadcasts.
LIVE 1.14: Monetization and Workflow Updates
LIVE 1.14 adds SCTE-35 ad insertion with configurable pre-roll, slate, and lead-out segments and built-in verification reporting. Additional updates include a standard Black source for the switcher, new keyboard shortcuts for sending sources directly to preview or program, the ability to clear individual or all clip slots in the replay module, and a transition fallback that defaults to a cut when a selected transition file is unavailable. LIVE 1.14 also ships with PRIME 5.3 and Prime Engine 2317.
