Sky News publishes in-depth research of the UK's handling of the COVID-19 pandemic

COVID Crisis: Learning the Lessons is a special three-part program now available on demand and on the Sky News YouTube channel. Presented by Sophy Ridge, it features a detailed timeline compiled of all areas of the UK's response to the pandemic.

Sky News is today publishing the work behind that effort in a statement of intent about the importance of public interest journalism ahead of any inquiry into the handling of the pandemic.

At almost 130 pages and nearly 55,000 words, the PDF available to download and view below was put together by collating contemporaneous reporting from Sky News as well as primary sources from the Office for National Statistics, the governments own transparency documents, the NHS, the House of Commons and many more.
