TO KEYNOTE AT MIPTV

Paris, Friday 11 January MIPTV announces today that Tim Hincks, President of Global Entertainment Producer Endemol, will deliver a keynote speech on Monday 8 April 2013 as part of MIPTVs Media Mastermind Keynote Series. Organised by Reed MIDEM, MIPTV will take place in Cannes, 8-11 April.

In his MIPTV address, Tim Hincks will discuss how creativity is affected by the radical changes taking place in the industry today. As President of Endemol Group, he is responsible for the creation and commercial exploitation of content across the companys worldwide network. This incorporates operations in 31 territories annually producing more than 400 series in genres including entertainment, reality TV, game shows, comedy, drama, sport, kids programming, factual, docu-dramas and features.

Tim Hincks was appointed President of Endemol Group in May 2012. The companys international hits include Big Brother, Deal or No Deal, Wipeout and Your Face Sounds Familiar. A rapidly growing drama portfolio also includes Hell on Wheels, Hot in Cleveland, Leverage, Secret Diary of a Call Girl, the Emmy Award-winning drama Black Mirror, Dutch series Penoza which is now being remade as Red Widow for ABC in the USA and major 2013 productions such as Ripper Street and Peaky Blinders for the BBC.
