Sales of trade industries reached nearly 00 million yuan on February

At the beginning of the holiday, with the rising of the local temperature, the consumer market has also entered the spring: with the citizens shopping and dining outside, the shopping malls, supermarkets and restaurant witness a flourishing development. According to the monitoring statistics of the holiday market from Ningbo Trade Bureau, the citys 28 key trade industries achieved sales of 98.893 million yuan, showing a significant increase over the same period last year.

In the Sanjiangkou business circle, many people are looking at the new spring arrivals in the Intime Department Store and the New Jiangxia Shopping Mall, while some citizens are buying some gold or silver jewelries around the counters in the 2nd Department Store and the New Hualian Shopping Mall. Statistics show that on the first day of the lunar January, the 10 major shopping malls in the city achieve the total sales of 37.74 million yuan, with that of the Intime Department Store reaching 9.7 million yuan. The sales of the 2nd Department Store exceed four million yuan, an increase of 5% over the same period last year and the sales of the New Jiangxia Shopping Mall increase by a significant 60.6%.

The Spring Festival holiday has always been a good time for reunion of family members or friends, which is sure to boost the catering industry. Statistics show that the 10 monitored major catering enterprises realize a sales volume of 3.846 million yuan, up by 1.5% over the same period last year. Specifically speaking, the sales of such downtown restaurants as the Nanyuan Hotel and the Shipu Seafood Restaurant have realized a rise of over 10% in sales, while the catering industry in the districts or counties will pick up after the 5th day of the lunar January.

During the holiday, the large family demands promote the sales of vegetable markets. On the first two days of the holiday, the vegetable markets in the city witness a stable and flourishing situation. According to statistics, on the first day of the lunar January, 1678 live pigs were sold, an increase of 2.3% over the same day last year. 1858 tons of vegetables were purchased, with the average price down by 1.5%, and the wholesale of aquatic products reached 560 tons.
