Automatik is a Los Angeles based film and television production company led by Brian Kavanaugh-Jones and Fred Berger, and partnered with Grandview Management. The duo are currently in post-production on DESTROYER starring Nicole Kidman and directed by Karyn Kusama, Chris Weitz's OPERATION FINALE starring Oscar Isaac and Sir Ben Kingsley, and Miles Joris-Peyrafitte's DREAMLAND starring Margot Robbie.

42's TV projects in production include JERUSALEM, a 6-part drama series commissioned by Channel 4, written by Bash Doran, currently shooting, and starring Michael Stuhlbarg, Emma Appleton, Keeley Hawes and Luke Treadaway; WATERSHIP DOWN, a 4 x 1 hour animated mini-series for BBC and Netflix, adapted from the global best-selling book by Richard Adams, written by Tom Bidwell, and starring James McAvoy, Nicholas Hoult, John Boyega, Sir Ben Kingsley, Daniel Kaluuya, Gemma Arterton and Olivia Colman, which is in production, and due to TX later this year; THE ENGLISH GAME, a 6-part drama series for Netflix, written by Julian Fellowes; and a number of other series in development with UK and US broadcasters.
42 has a multi-year first-look development, financing and production deal for feature films with Netflix.
ABOUT NIGHTSHADE
NIGHTSHADE is the team of director Jim Mickle and producer Linda Moran. Most recently, they completed three seasons of the critically acclaimed series HAP AND LEONARD for the Sundance Channel. Mickle and Moran collaborations include MULBERRY STREET, acquired by Lionsgate and STAKE LAND which premiered in 2010 Toronto Film Festival's Midnight Madness where it won the Audience Award. Their films WE ARE WHAT WE ARE and COLD IN JULY premiered in Sundance and went on to screen in Cannes' Directors Fortnight section.
In addition to her collaboration with Mickle, Linda is a two-time Independent Spirit Award nominee for L.I.E. ( Best Picture /2002) and TRANSAMERICA ( Best First Film /2006 along with Rene Bastian her partner in the NY based company Belladonna Productions. TRANSAMERICA, directed by Duncan Tucker and starring Felicity Huffman, received a Golden Globe award and Screen Actors Guild and Academy Award nominations for Huffman's performance. Dolly Parton's song from the film Travelin' Thru, also received a Golden Globe, an Academy Award and a Grammy nomination.
Other titles include A GUIDE TO RECOGNIZING YOUR SAINTS which stars Robert Downey Jr., Rosario Dawson, Chazz Palminteri, Dianne Wiest, Shia Labeouf and Channing Tatum. Ms. Moran also co-produced Michael Haneke's FUNNY GAMES US distributed by Warner Independent starring Naomi Watts, Tim Roth, Michael Pitt and Brady Corbet.
