NEW YORK - January 21, 2025 - An estimated 24.6 million viewers tuned in on Monday, January 20, 2025 to watch the inauguration of Donald J. Trump as 47th president of the United States, according to Nielsen.

Viewership peaked with 34.4 million viewers during the 12:15 PM quarter-hour.

While coverage varied by network, 15 networks aired coverage of the 60th Inauguration Day events from approximately 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. ET on Monday. A full list of reported networks can be referenced in the viewership table below.
