Broadpeak's Cloud PVR solution is used by some of the largest pay-tv operators globally. It allows subscribers to launch multiple recordings on various channels simultaneously without any constraint on the available bandwidth or the number of tuners on the reception device. With Cloud PVR, service providers can deliver start-over, time-shift, and catch-up TV, as well as impulsive recording, using a shared copy or private copy model. The recorded content can be processed on the fly to be viewed on any device type.

Deliver the Best User Experience Over 5G Networks

At Mobile World Congress 2018, Broadpeak will showcase its approach to content delivery over 5G networks. Broadpeak is an active participant in two projects supported by the European Union to help define 5G standards. At the show, Broadpeak will demonstrate caching solutions and tools for optimizing resource management allocation for mobile networks, using either multicast or unicast depending on the popularity of the content. Success Story: LMT Launches High-Quality Multiscreen TV Service With Broadpeak

Broadpeak and Latvian telco operator Latvijas Mobilais Telefons (LMT) will be on-hand at Mobile World Congress 2018 to discuss their recent partnership. LMT has deployed a comprehensive Broadpeak solution to support its new live, on-demand, and catch-up TV services.Based on the success of its service, LMT is now offering consultancy services to pay-TV operators that are interested in launching multiscreen offerings. During the show, Broadpeak and LMT will meet with operators to discuss how they can drive new revenue streams and exploit linear video delivery on mobile devices.
