In 2018, American musician Taylor Swift shocked the music industry after announcing that music executive Scooter Braun owned the masters of her first six albums. In an attempt to claim her music back, the country music star has already begun re-recording the albums and two of her new songs feature in the new animation film, DC League of Super-Pets.

WHY DOES TAYLOR'S VERSION' MEAN? When she kicked off her music career at 15, Taylor Swift signed to Big Machine Records. The 36-year-old left the label for Republic Records in 2018. Big Machine Records was then sold to Scooter Braun, who is best known for managing Justin Bieber which meant that all of Swift's masters belonged to Braun.

In an emotional Tumblr post, Swift said it was her worst case scenario .

THE ROCK AND KEVIN HART GROOVE TO TAYLOR'S VERSION' Grammy-winning muso Taylor Swift has already re-recorded her first two albums, Fearless and Red. The two albums were released in 2008 and 2012 respectively. The 22 hitmaker has gained thousands of fans all over the world including Hollywood A-listers, Dwayne The Rock Johnson and Kevin Hart.

The two actors, who are promoting their new film, DC League of Super-Pets, were hyping themselves up in between interviews with Swift's new music. The Rock jammed to the 32-year-old's unreleased, Bad Blood (Taylor's Version) while Hart blasted, Message in a Bottle (Taylor's Version) on his AirPods.

The two singles feature on DC League of Super-Pets.

DC LEAGUE OF SUPER-PETS' DC League of Super-Pets follows Krypto the Super-Dog (voiced by The Rock) who rallies up his friends to save his best friend and superhero, Super Man (voiced by John Krasinski).

The film features a star-studded cast including Kevin Hart, Keanu Reeves, Ben Schwartz and Kate McKinnon.
