Chicagos Bridges Media and post production company, 11 Dollar Bill, recently produced two broadcast commercial spots for TeeOff.com by PGA Tour with Panasonic VariCam 35 4K camera/recorders.

N, NJ (August 11, 2015) - Bridges Media (Chicago, IL) and post production company, 11 Dollar Bill, recently produced two broadcast commercial spots for TeeOff.com by PGA Tour with Panasonic VariCam 35 4K camera/recorders. The TeeOff.com website, recently acquired in partnership with EZ Links, offers golfers of all experience levels tee times and deals not found anywhere else.

Helmed by Director Al Wyatt, the spots take a comedic approach not usually seen in the golf category. The commercials, conceived and written by Flapjack Creative (Madison/Wausau), are Bridges Medias first efforts for the EZ Links client.

Wyatt tapped Director of Photography Darryl Miller to head up the camera department and, along with Post Production Supervisor Clark Jackson,Editor Jess Weberand Executive Producer Cannon Kinnard, the team chose the VariCam 35s.

The VariCam 35 proved to be the perfect camera for this project, said DP Miller. Because of its light-weight body, variable frame rates and dual recording capability, we were able to move fast, create quality images and deliver the file formats required to finish the job within the tight time-line.

The production used two Steadicams that facilitated moving smoothly from tracking to other shots, Miller noted.

The VariCam 35s, rented from Chicagos Daufenbach Camera, allowed the production to work quickly and, even more importantly, accelerate the edit.

By recording to multiple resolutions and eliminating the need for transcoding, we were able to start the edit immediately with the HD files straight from the camera, said Post Production Supervisor Jackson.

With the spots needing to deliver within a week of production, we could simultaneously edit HD files while pulling from the 4K master for color and effects: workflow was a breeze, he added.

Every single person who touched this project, including Mother Nature herself, made the spots better, funnier, prettier and refreshing, said Director Wyatt. From the wonderful casting job by PR Casting to the gorgeous look created by Darryl Miller, Steadicam operator Billy Nielson and their crew, Bridges Media and 11 Dollar Bill really succeeded in bringing these hilarious scripts to life.
