American pop star Britney Spears is ready to make a musical comeback! The Womanizer hitmaker has been out of the music scene since releasing her album Glory in 2016. According to Page Six, Spears has teamed up with English singer-songwriter Elton John on a duet of his 1971 classic, Tiny Dancer.

This comes after Spears teased new music on her Instagram earlier this year.

BRITNEY SPEARS AND ELTON JOHN'S TINY DANCER' DUET Elton John's Tiny Dancer was released 51 years ago and featured on his Madam Across the Water album. The track was also listed as number 47 on Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Songs of All Time in 2021.

According to Page Six, the 75-year-old met with Britney Spears at a Beverly Hills studio to record a duet of Tiny Dancer.

They're already played it for people at their record label and everybody is freaking out. It is so good, said one source.

They are saying this is going to be the song of the summer.

WAS BRITNEY SPEARS AVOIDING NEW MUSIC? Taking to Instagram in December 2021, Britney Spears how her conservatorship played a role in halting her music career. The 40-year-old added that when she asked to perform new music, she was told no.

I wanted my fans to see it and it didn't make sense how network television shows are showcasing my music with remixes of all my music yet the person who owns the music is told no, she explained.

Spears also mentioned that releasing new music was her way of saying F*ck you to her family.

SOLO SINGLE COMING UP? In February, the pop star teased a new single titled Get Naked on her Instagram page while showing off her killer dance moves.
