Wyzetalk launches student social and business network The Graduate Hub --

Social and business network The Graduate Hub, which connects students in a closed social community, has been launched by social enterprise platform Wyzetalk. The network allows students to their studies, jobs, bursaries, lifestyle and other areas of common interest.

Says Gys Kappers, CEO of Wyzetalk: There is a real need for students to receive information that is pertinent to them in every phase of their student life. Not only are they in a phase of accumulating and sharing knowledge, they are also faced with the reality of funding their studies and finding work experience that will get them ahead. The Graduate Hub community was created to provide very necessary support from like-minded individuals and companies that have the best interests of students at heart.

The Graduate Hub is easy to access on a desktop, tablet or mobile phone using native apps for each technology environment, downloadable from the stores. The social business platform is safe and conversations focus on topics that are only relevant to the students and do not include social conversations and commercials irrelevant to them.

It s not just about content, ideas and chatter; rather it is about using a rich multi-play platform in a meaningful way to gain intelligence, insights and sentiment in a way that will help students come together to share interests and make more informed decisions about their studies and future, continues Kappers.

What s more, companies can also use the Graduate Hub to speak directly to these students and do it in a consequential way that helps build their futures. Think about internships, bursaries, work opportunities, freelancing, on the job experience, and student loans to name but a few.

The worldwide growth of social media platforms has prompted the introduction of a more social way of engaging particularly for success, curiosity, originality and satisfying relationships.

The question was how do we cultivate these drives for the benefit of students? asks Ranthekeng Modisenyane, CEO of The Graduate Hub. The answer is to create a student evolution.
