NBCUniversal's Presentation of Milan Cortina Olympics Tops 20 Million Viewers for 13th Consecutive Day, Highlighted by Mikaela Shiffrin's Gold Medal and Men's Hockey Quarterfinals on Wednesday

Led by Mikaela Shiffrin's dominating gold-medal win in the slalom and the men's hockey quarterfinals, NBCUniversal's Milan Cortina Winter Olympics coverage averaged 20.2 million viewers yesterday for the live afternoon window (Milan Prime: 2-5 p.m. ET) and Primetime in Milan (8-11 p.m. ET/PT) across NBC, Peacock, NBCU Digital Platforms and Versant's USA Network, according to preliminary Nielsen data and digital data from Adobe Analytics

Wednesday marked the 13th consecutive day that NBCU's Milan Cortina Winter Olympic audience has topped 20 million viewers, according to official Nielsen Big Data Panel viewership and preliminary data from Nielsen, and digital data from Adobe Analytics.

Highlighting afternoon coverage on NBC and Peacock, the U.S. Men's Hockey Team's 2-1 overtime victory against Sweden averaged 6.9 million viewers - marking the most watched Olympic men's hockey game since the 2010 Vancouver Olympics gold-medal game (U.S. vs. Canada). The game's audience peaked at 8.9 million viewers from 5:30-5:45 p.m. ET.

Through Wednesday, the Milan Cortina Winter Olympics is averaging 23.9 million viewers on NBC, Peacock, NBCUniversal Digital Platforms and Versant's CNBC and USA Network - marking the most-watched Winter Games presentation at this point since the 2014 Sochi Olympics, according to official Nielsen Big Data Panel viewership and preliminary data from Nielsen, and digital data from Adobe Analytics. Viewership is up 90% from the 2022 Beijing Olympics at this point (12.6 million).

Led by Peacock, a record 12.9 billion minutes of Milan Cortina Olympics content have been streamed, topping by 87% all prior Winter Games combined (6.9 billion minutes).

NBCUniversal owns the U.S. media rights to the Olympic Games through 2036, which are scheduled for Milan Cortina (2026), Los Angeles (2028), French Alps (2030), Brisbane (2032), Utah (2034), and the 2036 Summer Games. Telemundo Scores Historic Sports Weekend with Most-Watched Clasico de Mexico Since 2020 and Highest-Rated NBA Game on Spanish-Language TV in 20 Years

Telemundo's presentation of Clasico de Mexico on Saturday, Feb. 14 delivered record-breaking cross-platform performance across Telemundo, Universo, Peacock and the Telemundo app, averaging a Total Audience Delivery (TAD) of 1.97 million viewers - ranking as the most-watched edition since Telemundo re-acquired the rights in 2020.

The match marked the most-streamed Clasico de Mexico in Telemundo history. Overall, TAD grew 10% year-over-year (vs. 1.79M), fueled by a 55% increase in streaming viewership.

Clasico de Mexico ranked as the #1 Spanish-language TV program on Saturday in Total Day on linear TV, averaging 1.53 million total viewers and 618,000 Adults 18-49 during the program window (9:31 p.m.-12:08 a.m.). The telecast propelled Telemundo to the #1 Spanish-language broadcast network in both Saturday Total Day and Primetime among both demos.

Then on Sunday, Feb. 14, Telemundo's presentation of the NBA All-Star Game across Telemundo, Peacock and the Telemundo app averaged a TAD of 337,000 total viewers, ranking as the most-watched NBA game on Spanish-language television in 20 years - since 2006 when Nielsen began measuring Spanish-language networks in the national sample. The game peaked at the 7 p.m. quarter hour with 443,000 total viewers.

Super Bowl LX Final Viewership Rises to 125.6 Million Viewers

Nielsen today shared updated and final Super Bowl LX viewership data, with the total rising to 125.6 million viewers across NBC, Peacock, Telemundo, NBC Sports Digital and NFL on Sunday, February 8, according to Big Data Panel measurement. This update is due to the fact that a Big Data provider did not properly collect data from its devices on February 8, which impacted the Big Data Panel count.

The telecast on NBC, Peacock, Telemundo, NBC Sports Digital and NFL drew a combined average household rating of 39.7.

Updated data was provided after initial ratings were made public on February 10. Additional ratings updates from February 8 are also now available to Nielsen clients.

2026 DAYTONA 500 Averaged a 3.77 Household Rating

The 2026 DAYTONA 500 on FOX averaged a 3.77 household rating with 7.5 million average viewers per minute.

It peaked at 9.2 million viewers for the conclusion of the race.

It outrated the NBA All-Star Game on NBC/Telemundo (combined), which drew 7.1 million average viewers per minute. NBA All-Star on NBC also had an Olympic lead-in.

It topped all broadcast and cable networks in viewership during the race from 2:15-5:45 p.m. ET.
