Talented actress Sikelelwa Vuyeleni, who bowed out of Adulting this Monday, 17 April scored the character of Khosi in 1Magic's new series 1802: Love Defies Time. She tells Sowetan she loved her role as the baby mama 'and wants to be remembered as the girl that showed up and made things happen.

SIKELELWA VUYELENI: ROLE IN 1802: LOVE DEFIES TIME' Sunday World reports that the former House of Zwide and Adulting actress Sikelelwa Vuyeleni has moved on to greener pastures as Khosi in 1802: Love Defies Time.

The series is a captivating love story told in isiXhosa. It follows two star-crossed lovers as they travel through life in search of their destiny.Vuyeleni, who has been cast as Khosi, accepts Zuko's proposal of marriage and starts her career as an intern doctor, believing that her life is just beginning reports the publication..

Vuyeleni, who plays Khosi does not realise that her fate has already been decided as she's stuck between two lovers.

She goes back in time to the 1800s, where the world is run by the Jola royal family led by King Jonginamba KaMajola, Melisizwe's father, who has three wives who live in separate homesteads.

The first wife is MamCwerha, the second wife is MamThembu, and MaMpinga is the youngest wife.

ADULTING ACTRESS THANKFUL FOR ROLE The Adulting star Sikelelwa Vuyeleni took to social media to thank producer Lulu Hlela for the opportunity to star in 1802: Love Defies Time.

A moment for God, an opportunity to give God the glory for all He has given me. May this journey continue to glorify Him. I am on my knees with gratitude, she wrote.

M-Net director of local entertainment Shirley Adonisi said they believe that 1802: Love Defies Time will be an amazing addition to their 8.30 pm slot, and hope their viewers will enjoy the tantalizing love story.

The debut season of 1802: Love Defies Time will air on 1Magic from 1 May and will also feature The Queen actors Thembisa Mdoda-Nxumalo, Vuyo Ngcukana, among other stars.
