Kula Multi-format Production Switchers

Kula (available as 1, 2 and 3 M/E versions) easily handles multiple formats making it both future-proof and adaptable for today's production environments. A wide choice of control panels (up to 24 crosspoints) and access to up to 42 inputs makes operations easy, giving users more time to work on other elements within the live production environment. If working in 4K/UHD, Kula becomes a 1M/E switcher that can support 12G-SDI.

The World's Most Trusted Playout Solution

SAM's ICE channel-in-a-box and Morpheus playout automation solution will be on show at SET Expo. Having been deployed across the world, either in-house, stand-alone or as an outsourced multi-channel/multi-client solution, ICE meets all the operational, technical, regulatory and commercial functionality required for broadcast playout. ICE can now be deployed as a software defined channel running in private cloud instances allowing unparalleled flexibility for customers.

Market-defining Master Control Switcher

Brand new, and on show at SET Expo, is Masterpiece 12G-SDI, the world's first UHD master control switcher. Handling SD/HD/1080p and UHD, Masterpiece 12G-SDI allows broadcasters to seamlessly move into UHD workflows without any compromise in quality and capability and provides branding functionality such as keying and DVE for squeeze backs and effects. Masterpiece provides a control interface to SAM's Morpheus playout automation solution and when used in combination, the two systems deliver robust and resilient content distribution and flexible device management.

SAM's IP Routing System - Making the Complex simple

SAM's IP Routing System offers the most complete, flexible and cost effective IP routing solution on the market today. The system is the first in the industry to support multiple signal types including SMTE 2022-6 and SMTE 2022-7; VSF TR-03 and 04. Next-generation Routing and Processing

The Vega suite of routers deliver unbeatable functionality at price points that suit a range of budgets. Being shown at SET Expo is the Vega 30 router which is ideal for small fixed applications, such as small outside broadcast trucks and studios. It combines powerful video and audio routing capability in a 3RU mainframe with built-in signal processing. Simple configuration and set up, and clean-and-quiet switching options makes the Vega 30 ideal for applications where smooth transitions, de-embedding and embedding and full MADI audio routing are key.

High quality standards conversion for all framerates

Also on show at SET Expo is SAM's LC350 compact synchronizer and video/audio processor. The LC350 is an easy to use, cost effective video and audio processing unit. Fitting in to 1RU of rack space the LC350 includes a wealth of processing and I/O including SDI, CVBS, AES and analog audio as well as fiber Tx/Rx and HDMI monitoring. SAM will also be demonstrating its MC2000 motion compensated, dual channel, standards converter with motion adaptive up, down and cross conversion.
