Former Scandal! Actress Rosemary Zimu, Big Brother Mzansi contestant Luthando 'BU' Mthembu, The Queen's Pabee Moganedi, and more actors have joined podcaster and Muvhango actress Tebogo Thobejane in Ayeye: Stripped.

INSIDE ROSEMARY ZIMU'S CHARACTER The remake of the show will be called Ayeye: Stripped when it returns with the new faces Rosemary Zimu, BU, Pabee Moganedi, and Tebogo Thobejane on 5 August on Mzansi Magic, according to Sowetan.

The first Ayeye starred popular actors Thapelo Mokoena, Sthembiso SK Khoza, Jessica Nkosi, Warren Masomola and Mpho Popps Modikoane aired in 2014.

The show will also feature radio personality Zama Ngcobo, Rhythm City actress Kealeboga, and Isibaya actor Charles Phasha.

The publication also reports that Generations: The Legacy star Rosemary Zimu will play the role of Zoleka, a 30-year-old mother, who's left destitute and forced to find other means to sustain her lavish lifestyle before she becomes homeless.

MZANSI MAGIC CONFIRMS AYEYE: STRIPPED' The first season aired on 1Magic and followed three male best friends who attempted to navigate their relationships and the hardships of friendships.

Mzansi Magic reveals that the new season is set in Johannesburg north's elite Bryanston area and will share stories of a rich stay-at-home mom, played by Zimu who joins the adult content-creating world to maintain her luxurious lifestyle after her husband passes away and his family takes everything.

As a channel, we're adaptable and ahead of the curve, which is why we're embracing the anthology format for some of our shows. The first season of Ayeye gave viewers plenty to talk about, and this new season is just as topical, says Shirley Adonisi, director of local entertainment channels at M-Net.
