The future of European cinema to debate at the Festival de Sevilla Del 9 al 17 de noviembre el 15 Festival de Cine de Sevilla se consolida como enclave fundamental de todos los agentes de la industria del cine europeo. El Innovation Lab de Europa Cinemas y la reuni n de Europa International, con algunos de los m s importantes distribuidores internacionales europeos reforzar n el papel trascendente del certamen.

Las nuevas formas de consumo de los espectadores, los cambios de paradigma en el audiovisual, las estrategias de comunicaci n, las posibilidades de coproducci n, la igualdad de g nero son algunos de los temas que tratar n representantes internacionales de la industria en el Festival de Sevilla.

Consolidado como principal punto de referencia europeo de cineastas, productores, distribuidores, exhibidores y comunicadores, el 15 Festival de Sevilla volver a activar el SEFF Industria, un espacio donde, entre el 13 y el 17 de noviembre, se establecer n decenas de actividades en el marco de un debate necesario y trascendente para el futuro del cine en Europa.

Destaca la implicaci n de Europa Cinemas, la mayor red de salas de programaci n de films europeos, con m s de 2.800 salas en 44 pa ses. Con el objetivo de ofrecer apoyo financiero a los exhibidores y de desarrollar actividades destinadas al p blico joven, Europa Cinemas trae a Sevilla su Innovation Lab, abriendo as un espacio de debate con el objetivo de atraer y aumentar p blico, de crear demanda, de diversificar la programaci n de cine europeo, de construir relaciones, de aprovechar recursos, activar acciones conjuntas a nivel continental, de adaptarse a los cambios en los modelos de ocio, de desarrollar estrategias de financiaci n y de comunicaci n, e intercambiar experiencias entre diversos profesionales del sector de todo el mundo.

Al mismo tiempo, y gracias a la colaboraci n de Acci n Cultural Espa ola, Extenda y la Agencia Andaluza de Instituciones Culturales, el #15FestivalSevilla profundizar en su lema Make them circulate!. En este sentido, la ciudad ser anfitriona de la 7 Conferencia Anual de Europa International, la red europea de agentes de ventas internacionales, con 46 miembros en 15 pa ses, cuyo objetivo principal es mejorar e incrementar la distribuci n y circulaci n internacional de pel culas europeas dentro y fuera de Europa.

Entre ellos, distribuidores internacionales como Les films du Losange, compa a creada en 1962 por Barbet Schroeder y Eric Rohmer y que hoy maneja t tulos de Michael Haneke o Jacques Rivette; The Match Factory (que cuentan en su cat logo con Lucrecia Martel, Abel Ferrara, Miguel Gomes o Fath Akin), Wild Bunch (Godard, Ken Loach, Emir Kusturica o Nicholas Winding), Films Boutque (que en 2018 atesora ya el premio Un Certain Regard, el Jean Vigo y el Best Female Filmmaker en Venecia ) o la nueva compa a Charades que en su primer a o en Cannes gan la Semana de la Critica con Diamantino'. Nuevos modelos de negocio para la promoci n de estrenos en sala y digitales, nuevas estrategias de marketing o el papel de los agentes de ventas y los festivales en la circulaci n de las pel culas, ser n algunos de los temas a abordar.

En Sevilla se pondr sobre la mesa el futuro m s cercano de una parte significativa y decisiva de la exhibici n y la distribuci n del cine europeo. Ser una oportunidad extraordinaria para todos los profesionales del cine y para aquellos que empiezan sus primeros pasos en el sector, que ha sido posible gracias tambi n a la inestimable y vital colaboraci n Acci n Cultural Espa ola con su programa de Internacionalizaci n de la Cultura Espa ola (PICE).

M s actividades para profesionales El programa se complementar con el XVI Encuentro de Animaci n y Videojuegos de la Fundaci n AVA, las jornadas Women in Focus organizadas por AAMMA, la 2a edici n del Foro de Educaci n en la Imagen, y charlas y conferencias ligadas al desarrollo y producci n de obras cinematogr ficas gracias al foco especial Sistema Italia, que analizar posibles formas de cooperaci n entre Espa a, Am rica Latina y el pa s transalpino, que se han extendido considerablemente tras su entrada en el programa Ibermedia.

Pero adem s el Festival abre a las puertas tanto a las productoras andaluzas gracias a las jornadas que coordina Extenda con encuentros y reuniones personalizadas como a Escuelas de Cine de nuestro pa s que se acercar n a Sevilla y a las que el festival conectar tanto con cineastas como con los profesionales de la distribuci n y la exhibici n.

Dentro de las actividades del SEFF Industria, se pondr el broche final a la I Edici n de La Incubadora de The Screen, el programa de desarrollo de largometrajes de la ECAM dirigido a productores, directores y guionistas emergentes residentes en Espa a a trav s de mentor as, asesoramiento y la financiaci n de cinco proyectos de largometraje con potencial internacional.

El 14 de noviembre tendr lugar un encuentro entre los miembros de Europa Internacional, al que asistir n m s de 40 agentes de ventas de toda Europa, y los productores de los proyectos de largometraje incubados: Lina Badenes y Bel n S nchez ( La Inocencia', actualmente en postproducci n), Jaime Gona ( El profesor', dirigida por Daniel Castro), Sergy Moreno ( Josefina', dirigida por Javier Marco), Laura Rubirola ( La Bestia', dirigida por David Casademunt) y Alberto Tortes ( Los Garc a', documental dirigido por Paco Nicol s).

Ofreciendo una plataforma de visibilidad a las escuelas de cine, mostrando la creatividad latente y la brillante actividad formativa de esos centros, el #15FestivalSevilla ha abierto una nueva secci n, Un Joven Continente', que proyectar t tulos impulsados por escuelas y universidades europeas.
