20th October 2015 Taskmaster, Storage Hunters UK and Most Haunted now available on Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV Stick
UKTV today announced the launch of its award-nominated on demand service UKTV Play on Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV Stick.
The UKTV Play app on Amazon Fire TV devices includes a new feature which enables users to create their own bespoke collections via My List. This new function will be rolled out onto other UKTV Play devices in the coming months.
The multi-award winning network which is home to the number one non-PSB channel Dave, launched UKTV Play last summer and has rapidly rolled it out across multiple devices and platforms. Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV Stick join YouView, Virgin TV and BT TV in offering the on demand service, which is also available on iOS, Android and PC.
UKTV Play provides catch up and on demand access to programmes from UKTVs popular free-to-air channels Dave, Yesterday, Really and Drama. Content on the service is compiled into intuitive collections featuring programmes from across the network and viewers favourite stars recommend their choice of shows via dynamic staff and celebrity picks.

New content added to the service in August, including the UK premiere of hit US show Last Man on Earth, series five of the hugely popular Suits and brand new comedy panel show Taskmaster, drove a 92% increase in Dave VOD views on PC, mobile devices and Youview. The boost contributed to UKTV Plays most successful month ever across those platforms.
From today, UKTV Play is available as a free app in the Apps section of Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV stick.
